I was lucky enough to grow up in the beauty that is The Berkshires of Massachusetts. I fell into hospitality as a college job at The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA where I would eventually be offered my first front office management position. After graduating college and relocating to Boston I was given the opportunity to join a fairly new hotel at that time called Hotel Commonwealth. At Hotel Commonwealth I learned how powerful a strong culture and dedication to service could propel a hotel for success. At Hotel Commonwealth I was lucky enough to work with some outstanding leaders who set the precedent and that solid example filtered down throughout the rest of the hotel. I was also able to work with some of the most talented staff that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and have been lucky enough to be able to stay in touch with many of them over the years. It’s incredible how many of us used that experience to go on to be successful in leadership roles of our own. Our strong focus on culture and service would eventually lead our “new small hotel” to what would eventually be the #1 hotel in all of Boston on TripAdvisor for a couple straight years as well as providing an opportunity for Hotel Commonwealth to become the official hotel of The Boston Red Sox.
After my time at Hotel Commonwealth I would take the values I learned with me to a few different hotels throughout Massachusetts including Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort in Lenox as well as for W Hotels in Boston keeping the pillars for success that I had learned at the forefront each time. After over 30 years in the Northeast I personally needed a change and in January of 2017 I relocated to Denver, Colorado where I would eventually join Hotel Teatro as their Director of Operation to which is where I am to this day.
My passions when I’m not working are hiking, biking and kayaking as well as rooting for my Boston sports teams and going on adventures with my dog Quincy.
